Core Line Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

Core Line is a job search management platform that helps you:

• Organize and track job applications
• Save job posting details from websites you visit
• Manage contacts related to your job search
• Track your application progress

The Core Line Chrome Extension allows you to save job information from web pages you are viewing to your Core Line account.

2. Account Registration

To use Core Line, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate, complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscription and Payment

3.1 Pricing

Core Line offers subscription plans as described on our pricing page. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

3.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Payment is processed through Stripe; we do not store your credit card information
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

3.4 Free Trial

If offered, free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

4. Chrome Extension — User-Directed Data Capture

4.1 How It Works

The Core Line Chrome Extension allows YOU to save information from web pages you are viewing. When you click the save button:

• You direct the extension to capture visible information from your current page
• This information is saved to YOUR Core Line account
• You control what gets saved and when

4.2 Your Responsibilities

By using the Chrome Extension, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to access the web pages you are viewing
• You are using your own accounts on third-party platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.)
• You will use captured information solely for your personal job search
• You will comply with the terms of service of any platforms you access
• You will not use the Service for bulk data collection, competitive intelligence, or any commercial purpose beyond your personal job search

4.3 Third-Party Platforms

Core Line is not affiliated with LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, or any other job board or professional network. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your activities comply with their terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts beyond the intended functionality of our Chrome Extension
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Sell, resell, or redistribute any data obtained through the Service
• Harass, spam, or abuse contacts whose information you save
• Use the Service to build a database for commercial sale or licensing
• Circumvent any rate limiting or security measures

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Core Line LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "Core Line" and our logo are trademarks of Core Line LLC.

6.2 Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into or save through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM:

• Accuracy of Third-Party Data: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job postings, company information, or contact details you save through the Service. This information comes from third-party sources that we do not control.
• Employment Outcomes: We do not guarantee that using Core Line will result in job interviews, offers, or employment.
• Platform Compliance: We do not guarantee that your use of our Chrome Extension complies with the terms of service of third-party platforms. You are solely responsible for compliance.
• Continuous Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

8.1 Damages Cap

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

8.2 Exclusion of Damages

We shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use of data saved through the Service
• Damages arising from your communications with employers or contacts
• Damages arising from actions taken by third-party platforms

8.3 Exceptions

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Core Line LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including any third-party platform's terms of service
• Your use of data captured through the Chrome Extension
• Your communications with employers, recruiters, or hiring managers

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Sending an email to your registered email address

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include violation of these Terms or conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or our business.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your data after 30 days (you may request an export before termination)
• Sections 6-9, 13, and 14 survive termination

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@corelineapp.com to attempt informal resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.

13.3 Jurisdiction

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Core Line LLC regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
